Help with the SPA web site
We have outlined a few topics below to help you use our site. However if there is something we have not covered here that you would like to ask us regarding the site (or usage of the site), then please contact the webmaster.
Image Gallery
To view a larger version of the images within a gallery, click on any of the images within the gallery. This will zoom in on the image. You can then hover your mouse over the left and right sides of the images to scroll through the gallery backward and forward respectively. You can also use your left and right keys on your keyboard to scroll through the gallery. To exit, simply click the large X on the bottom right of the image or hit the Esc key on your keyboard.
Information about Tagging
A tag is a word (such as: "painting" or "sculpture"), or very short phrase (such as: "Cascade Vase" or "Birmingham NEC") used to describe an item. We are currently 'tagging' our events in this way and will shortly be expanding this into other areas of the site.
Because we tag our events, you can easily view all events that share a certain tag. This essentially means you have a simple way of always knowing what is going on in 'birmingham' for example, or always knowing which 'exhibitions' are coming up.
How to keep up to date with The South Pacific Art Company
Here at The South Pacific Art Company we want to make it as easy as possible for you to stay up to date with what's going on.
Whenever we sign a new Artist, agree an exhibition with a Gallery or are accepted for an Art Fair we will publish it in our news section.
You can easily keep track of what's going on by visiting the news page periodically, or to be notified automatically when we update it you can subscribe to our RSS news feed, It's really easy to set up and use. For help with setting it up please read on.
Help with RSS
RSS is a standardized format that lets you subscribe (generally free of charge) to a web site using a tool called a news reader or aggregator
The orange RSS button 
lets you locate feeds in one quick glance on this site.
To view the RSS feed and subscribe to it simply click on the RSS icon (if your browser supports RSS), or paste the url http://www.southpacificart.com/news-feed into your RSS program (aggregator) of choice.
There are many different programs you can use to subscribe to RSS feeds including Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2, Safari and Opera Web browsers. Or you can use a program/application specifically designed for the job like Google Reader and SharpReader.
