Katie Brown - Glass Artist
Katie is one of only a small handful of full-time female glass blowing artists in New Zealand. She has studied and worked with Josh Simpson, the well known American glass artist and the British environmental glass artist Neil Wilkin. Much of Katie's work is inspired by the natural world which is reflected in how she sculpts the hot glass. Through her use of colour and cold techniques her pieces display a delicate sense of structure. Katie is widely exhibited in New Zealand and latterly in the US.

Gourds
- Blown glass.
- Small up to 155mm wide.
- Medium up to 165mm wide.
- Large up to 185mm wide.
- Available in any colour, opaque and transparent.
- Example colours are black opaque and steel grey transparent.

Organic Fruit Vessel
- Blown glass.
- Up to 180mm wide and 170mm high.
- Each vessel is individually blown so sizes and number of glass trails may vary.
- Available in any colour.
- Example colour is scarlet.
Tiger Lily Vessels
- Blown glass.
- Small up to 155mm wide.
- Medium up to 165mm wide.
- Large up to 185mm wide.
- Come in small, medium and large sizes.
- Available in any colour.
- Example colours are scarlet, steel grey and steel blue.
Whispers
- Blown glass.
- Small up to 460mm high.
- Medium up to 540mm high.
- Large up to 600mm high.
- Available in any colour, opaque and transparent.
- Example colours are; red opaque and transparent, hyacinth, purple, steel blue and clear.
