Celebration and promotional DVD screening in NZ

The South Pacific Art Company (SPA Co.) is celebrating the start of its journey with its artists and Zambarta Gallery. It will also be the first chance for the artists to see the promotional DVD they have starred in. The celebration is this Sunday the 17th of September at Zambarta Gallery in Otaki, New Zealand, from 11.00am.

“I wanted to thank the artists who have come on board. I know for many of them this is the first time they have taken their work overseas which is pretty scary. When your work is on the other side of the world you can’t just get in your car and get it back if there is a problem.”, says Angela Albiston, Director of SPA Co. “The first step is always the hardest and their faith and friendship has been incredible. It has inspired me to drive even harder to make the SPA Co. a success for everyone!”

“Zambarta is hosting the celebration, which is yet another way they have been supportive of the SPA Co. They have introduced three of the artists now on board with us and have more waiting in the wings nearly ready join the journey”, says Angela.

The new promotional DVD commissioned by SPA Co. and starring eight of its current 12 artists will also have its first showing. “The people at Sticky Pictures have done a great job. I think the artists have been captured as themselves, which is what I wanted. I want the people here in Europe to relate to the artists, which makes relating to their work even easier”, says Angela. The DVD will be shown at art fairs and exhibitions and the individual interviews will feature on the artists’ pages of the revamped SPA Co. web site due to go live at the beginning of September.
